Writer, theatre and film director Marko Sosič passed away aged barely 62. Marko Sosič was born in 1958 in Trieste. He graduated in theatre directing at the Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Zagreb. He has directed in various Slovenian and Italian theatres as well as for television. He was Artistic director of the Slovene National Theatre in Nova Gorica and Slovene Permanent Theatre in Trieste.
The Transformations project is soon to be complemented with new collections by fashion designers from five Slavic countries. Just like the first five the new collections will be inspired by Slavic cultural heritage.
The Women Writers Route Association, which will apply for the certificate of the European cultural route, has been formally established and registered in accordance with regulations. The project partners are actively involved in the design and implementation of activities, including Biljana Dojčinović from Serbia, a member of the WWR Scientific Council.
