Maja Gojković, President of the FSK Board, Visits Ljubljana

President of the Board of the Forum of Slavic Cultures Maja Gojković, also the Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, paid her first official visit to the new headquarters of the International Foundation – Forum of Slavic Cultures. At the working meeting with FSK Director Andreja Rihter she emphasised the role of an institution such as the FSK and stressed the importance of further strengthening the joint promotion of the richness of Slavic cultures.

Hribar’s renovated Villa Zlatica opened its doors

Zoran Janković, Mayor of the City of Ljubljana, Blaž Peršin, Director of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, Andreja Rihter, Director of the International Foundation – Forum of Slavic Cultures, Jerneja Batič, Head of the Villa Zlatica renovation project, and Irena Žmuc, author of the permanent exhibition Ivan Hribar and the Ljubljana Bourgeoisie, ceremoniously opened Hribar’s renovated Villa Zlatica.

FSK paid a visit to its partners in Serbia

The international foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures has more than 1200 partners, including many institutions from Serbia. FSK Director, Dr. Andreja Rihter, visited some of them during her recent working visit to Serbia.

As part of her working visit to the Republic of Serbia Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK), met with President of FSK Board, Maja Gojković, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. They spoke about the institution’s strategic policies, including one of its priorities, which is to increase the international visibility of Slavic cultures.

Slavic Garden in Pula Is Here to Stay

In cooperation with the Book Fair(y) in Istria the Forum of Slavic Cultures launched a new programme, Slavenski đardin (the Slavic Garden). At the 25th fair in Pula the programme featured contemporary Russian authors and presented the 100 Slavic Novels at one of the fair’s prestigious locations.

Your Heritage Is Our Heritage

In the framework of the VIII International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg the FSC presented Živa sculptures to the best Slavic Museum 2019 and the best Slavic heritage site. At a special round table the representatives of Russian and Slavic museums discussed the significance of Slavic heritage in the global context.
