21 Museums in the Competition for the 10th Živa Award

The call for entries for the 10th edition of the Živa Award presented by the Forum of Slavic Cultures is now closed. Judges will visit the 21 entries from 10 countries and, after an expert consultation, will select the winners and the recipients of the special recognitions.

 

The judges are on the road, the visits to the candidates are well underway and the FSK is already busy preparing for the annual conference with the award ceremony, to which they are already inviting nominated museums and interested professionals. This year’s meeting and ceremony will take place from 25 to 29 September in Etar, near Gabrovo, Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, the City of Gabrovo and the Etar Regional Open-Air Ethnographic Museum, winner of the 2020 Živa Award for the Best Heritage Site in Slavic Countries.
