FSK Heritage Project Group at Work
The FSK heritage project group is ready to roll up their sleeves and get busy as one of FSK bodies, and has already taken note of the draft Strategic Heritage Plan 2021 – 2026.
Despite the pandemic circumstances the competent ministries in Slavic countries have nominated their members on the FSK heritage project group, giving the group the green light to start with their activity. At their first online meeting on 10 November the members took note of the draft strategic heritage plan for the next five-year period and continued with bilateral discussions on new activities that ought to be included in the plan. They proposed involving national libraries, preparing and conducting virtual tours of archaeological heritage in Slavic countries, to be followed by virtual museum tours. The Strategic Heritage Plan 2021 – 2026 is to include setting up a digital platform for Slavic heritage and coordinated sharing of experience with new legislations in respective countries.
The heritage project group meeting was a good start for their further activity and will serve as a stimulus for additional proposals and further development of the evolving strategic plan.
