All members present at the general meeting of the Women Writers Route Association
Members of the Women Writers Route Association from seven countries met at the general meeting. They approved the Association’s bodies, took note of its previous activities and fundamental documents, and adopted the work programme for the next three-year period. Their first task is to prepare and submit the application for the certification Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.

Maja Gojković, President of the FSK Board, Visits Ljubljana
President of the Board of the Forum of Slavic Cultures Maja Gojković, also the Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, paid her first official visit to the new headquarters of the International Foundation – Forum of Slavic Cultures. At the working meeting with FSK Director Andreja Rihter she emphasised the role of an institution such as the FSK and stressed the importance of further strengthening the joint promotion of the richness of Slavic cultures.

FSK paid a working visit to Moscow
During their working visit to the Russian capital the visitors from the International Foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures met with their regular project partners as well as with Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Alla Manilova, and Yevgeny Primakov, Head of the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo.

Fabula Festival with Ana Marwan in the garden of Villa Zlatica
As part of this year’s Fabula Festival, the first public event, a literary evening with Ana Marwan, took place in the garden of Villa Zlatica. With this, the Forum of Slavic Cultures which is housed in Villa Zlatica, is joining Ljubljana venues for outdoor events.

The Centre of Slavic Cultures Moscow has traditionally organized the Festival of Slavic Cultures on the occasion of the Day of Slavic Literacy. This year it took place in hybrid form, partly live and partly remotely. The festival also included a round table dedicated to new Russian editions in the Hundred Slavic Novels collection.

Ambassadors of Slavic countries paid a visit to Villa Zlatica
Following the opening ceremony in Hribar’s Villa Zlatica, the Forum of Slavic Cultures invited ambassadors of Slavic countries in Ljubljana to visit its new home. So far, the villa has welcomed ambassadors from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Poland and Russia.

The “LIVING VILLA” cycle comes alive
To mark 18 May, the International Museum Day, the Forum of Slavic Cultures prepared the first in the series of events in the “ŽIVA VILA” (LIVING VILLA) cycle, which took place in Hribar’s Villa Zlatica.

The Fifth International Colloquium Piranova
In the framework of Piranova – International Heritage Research Centre programme the Forum of Slavic Cultures in collaboration with the European Museum Academy organised the fifth international colloquium. Experts from seven countries discussed the triumph of the digital. Two online workshops also took place in the framework of the colloquium.

Hribar’s renovated Villa Zlatica opened its doors
Zoran Janković, Mayor of the City of Ljubljana, Blaž Peršin, Director of the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, Andreja Rihter, Director of the International Foundation – Forum of Slavic Cultures, Jerneja Batič, Head of the Villa Zlatica renovation project, and Irena Žmuc, author of the permanent exhibition Ivan Hribar and the Ljubljana Bourgeoisie, ceremoniously opened Hribar’s renovated Villa Zlatica.

FSK paid a visit to its partners in Serbia
The international foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures has more than 1200 partners, including many institutions from Serbia. FSK Director, Dr. Andreja Rihter, visited some of them during her recent working visit to Serbia.
