Having received the prestigious Gourmand Award in 2017, At the Table with the Slavs, the first world monograph on Slavic cuisines, won a place in the exhibition marking the 25th anniversary of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

The publisher of the monograph At the Table with the Slavs, the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK), is proud that the book, which was released both in Slovenian and English, and first came out already in 2016, was shortlisted among the best cookbooks of the last 25 years and invited to the exhibition marking the 25th anniversary of the prestigious Gourmand Award. This is the first international food culture exhibition of this kind. The exhibition at the Björkborn Manor, the home of the Alfred Nobel Museum, was opened by the governor of Karlskoga and president of the Alfred Nobel Björkborn Foundation, Maria Larsson, accompanied by Edouard Cointreau, president and founder of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Every year, the award, which was founded in 1995, honours the best food and wine books, and the selected ones will be on display in Alfred Nobel’s last home in Sweden until 9 November 2020.
