President of the Board pays a pre-New Year visit to the FSK

At the end of 2023, the President of the Board of the FSK, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojković, visited the headquarters of the Forum of Slavic Cultures in Ljubljana.

At the working meeting, the President of the Board, Maja Gojković, and the Director of the FSK, Dr Andreja Rihter, reviewed the work in 2023 and noted that a number of projects had been successfully implemented. Particular highlights were the Transformations exhibition, which was held at the Belgrade Museum of Applied Arts in September, followed by the presentation of the creations at the 52nd Belgrade Fashion Week, the writers’ discussion as part of the Slovenian Guest of Honour programme at the Frankfurt Book Fair, and the networking in the framework of the Women Writers Route.

They discussed plans and the work programme for 2024, which is particularly important as the 20th anniversary of the FSK will be celebrated this year, the 10th Živa Prize will be awarded, and the 100th book in the 100 Slavic Novels collection is about to be published.

They both expressed their delight at the networking, cooperation and promotion of Slavic cultures, creativity and heritage to which the Forum of Slavic Cultures is committed.
