Maja Gojković, President of the Board of the FSK, at Villa Zlatica

Dr. Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, and Maja Gojković, President of the Board , met for a working meeting at the FSK headquarters in Villa Zlatica.

Regular working meetings between the President of the Board of the FSC and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Media of the Republic of Serbia, Maja Gojković, and Dr. Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, enable the continued operation of the international foundation and the development and upgrading of its projects. These are  implemented also in Serbia. The activities of the Belgrade Centre of Slavic Cultures have been intensified in recent years. This year a new book will be published as part of the 100 Slavic Novels collection, namely a translation of a Slovenian novel by Katarina Marinčič, the opening of the Transformations exhibition is planned, as well as the FSK inclusion in the programme Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture 2022. Serbian institutions are also actively involved in the cultural and tourist Women Writers Route. The route has recently officially become part of the group of 48 cultural routes certified by the European Institute of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.

In addition to the above, Serbian partners are also willing to take part in the activities carried out by the FSK  in cooperation with colleagues from Ukrainian museums.

The Director of the FSK  Dr. Rihter and the President of the FSK Board Maja Gojković reiterated the importance of promoting intercultural dialogue, fostering mutual understanding, cooperation and the protection of cultural heritage.
