Transformations at Belgrade Fashion Week

Following the successful exhibition Transformations: from the Slavic Clothing Tradition to Contemporary Designs, which was in September on display in the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade, the fashion designers participating in the Transformations project presented their creations at Belgrade Fashion Week (52nd Perwoll Fashion Week), which has a tradition of more than 20 years.

The fashion show of the creations created within the Transformations project was the opening event of Belgrade Fashion Week. With ten original visions and collections, the project of the Forum of Slavic Cultures is building the base for the establishment of a long-term platform for fashion creativity in the Slavic countries. The project is also an important cultural exchange and a platform for cooperation. The collection by the sisters Jelena and Svetlana Proković, which captivated the audience with its clean design, embroidery and simple decorations in a combination of black and white, was a particular highlight of the fashion show. The presentation and promotion of the collection was designed by FSK together with the director of Belgrade Fashion Week, Nenad Radujević.
