New Minister of Culture of Montenegro expresses support to FSC
Like his predecessors, Mr. Aleksandar Bogdanović, the new Montenegrin Minister of Culture, supports the activity of the Forum of Slavic Cultures and its projects that involve active participation of Montenegrin partners, both individual and institutional. This was one of the key points he made at the working meeting that took place in Cetinje, Montenegro, and was attended also by the Chairman of the FSC Board, Pavle Goranović, and H.E. Mitja Močnik, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Montenegro.

At the meeting, Mr. Bogdanovič stressed that the FSC was an excellent platform for strengthening the collaboration of Slavic cultures and their joint efforts in presenting the Slavic culture to the world. He also proposed for Montenegro to host in the coming years the award ceremony for the Živa Award for the best Slavic museum, the award that has already become a well-established name in the field of cultural heritage.

Another recent collaboration with Montenegro was also the publication of the first book in the 100 Slavic Novels series, the translation of Drago Jančar’s Mocking Desire.
