International Museum Day in Villa Zlatica

This year’s International Museum Day, which took place under the slogan The Power of Museums, the Forum of Slavic Cultures marked with a full-day program in Villa Zlatica.

On the occasion of the International Museum Day, coordinated by the International Museum Council (ICOM) since 1977, the Forum of Slavic Cultures organized a free viewing of videos from Slavic museums, including the recipients of the ŽIVA award for the best Slavic museum and the best heritage site in Slavic countries. There was also a free entry to the temporary exhibition SHARING – CONNECTING – NERVING – PROMOTING – LEARNING: From Hribar to the Forum of Slavic Cultures and guided tours of the permanent exhibition IVAN HRIBAR AND THE LJUBLJANA BOURGEOISIE: A tribute to Ivan Hribar and his daughter Dr. Zlatica Hribar. Visitors also received free publications of the Forum of Slavic Cultures and sat down for tea at the magical garden of Villa Zlatica.
