Intense Preparations for the International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg

Having signed the joint statement on special status at the VIII International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation this April the Forum of Slavic Cultures launched intense preparations for the November event. The FSC delegation will consist of ministers of culture of Slavic countries as well as numerous experts and artists.

The FSC with its various meetings, professional events, presentations and cooperation agreements will have a special status at this year’s VIII International Cultural Forum that will take place in St. Petersburg between 14 and 16 November. The FSC delegation will include more than 30 participants from Slavic countries who will take part both in the FSC programme and events across the 15 thematic sections. A part of intense preparations was also the working meeting in Moscow with Alla Manilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Dr. Andreja Rihter, FSC Director and representatives of forum organisers.

Every year, the forum welcomes more than 35,000 participants from all over the world. The central theme this year will be Culture Codes in the Global World.
