Working meeting with President of FSK Board, Maja Gojković

Dr. Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, met with Maja Gojković, President of the FSK Board, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, in Villa Zlatica. They talked about the international foundation’s strategic orientation and events to be organized in Serbia in the framework of FSK projects in the following months.

At the working meeting at the headquarters of the international foundation FSK in Villa Zlatica in Ljubljana Andreja Rihter and Maja Gojković discussed the priorities of the strategic plan for the period 2022 – 2027, which is currently in the making. The plan is to include further cooperation with UNESCO and establishment of continued presentations of Slavic cultures and the Council of Europe. “We will strengthen the promotion of Slavic heritage and collaboration between Slavic speaking countries. This will forge stronger ties between the Slavs, and boost our presence and visibility at the global level,” stressed Dr. Andreja Rihter, FSK director.

Maja Gojković, President of the FSK Board, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, said that Serbia will also prepare events to mark this year’s 15th anniversary of the One Hundred Slavic Novels collection, whereas 2022 will see two major events organized in Serbia as the country presiding the FSK Board. The conference and Živa Award ceremony will take place in Belgrade and Novi Sad from 11 to 13 January 2022, and on the day of the opening ceremony of the European Capital of Culture in Novi Sad, the FSK Board members, ministers of culture of FSK member countries, will meet at its 18th regular meeting.
