The Programme Council of the new cultural route – the Women Writers’ Route met at its first session. Programme Council members from five countries – Croatia, Poland, Russia, Slovenia and Serbia – met in Belgrade to discuss local communities and institutions that are to participate in this project as well as those interested in joining it
The Forum of Slavic Cultures took part at its second “academy” of the European Institute for Cultural Routes at the Council of Europe. The Forum presented the Women Writers’ Route project that aims to shed light on the exceptional lives and literary stories of women writers who left their mark in the struggle for human rights and the rights of women in the early 20th century.
The 13th International Summer School of Museology took place under the auspices of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska, ICOM Slovenia and Centre for Creativity of the Museum of Architecture and Design. It also served as a platform for the FSC to present the new cultural route.
In the framework of the Council of Europe’s new cultural route project the International Foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures organised an international conference on women writers at the beginning of the 20th century. The conference was attended by nine women scientists and professionals from seven countries.
FSC Director Andreja Rihter paid a working visit to Stefano Dominioni, Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes in Luxemburg.
