Denisa Dovalová

Denisa Dovalová graduated in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Fashion Design from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic.

She gained work experience at the studio of Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen, where she was a member of the Haute Couture Association. Since 2012, she has participated in numerous international fashion events such as Mercedes Benz Fashion Days in Kiev, London-Paris-Kiev Fashion Scout Selection and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe in Budapest. In 2014, she was the winner of the Talent Black Card competition for young fashion designers at Unique Prague Fashion Week. In 2016, she was selected as a finalist of the International Master Selection Competition at Designblok.

In the same year, she founded her own brand Denisa Doval. In her design process, Dovalová seeks a balance between ready-to-wear collections and independent fashion projects, thus realising her vision of connecting the resulting creations with art. Each piece tells a story and the garments become interpreters of emotions, thoughts and attitudes.
