As part of the European Union-funded project Ljubka’s Way, a cross-border literary trail celebrating poetry and equality, the Forum of Slavic Cultures and the Lojze Bratuž Cultural Centre are organizing a training course for tourist guides. The next session will take place on 11 January 2025 in Nova Gorica.
The lecture module will focus on the life and work of Ljubka Šorla, prominent women writers from the Goriška region, the region’s historical background, and practical exercises for guiding along Ljubka’s route.
The project is supported by the European Union through the Small Project Fund GO! 2025, under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021–2027 programme, managed by the EGTC GO.
