Film Catcher at Eye Filmmuseum
Netherlands

Film Catcher at Eye Filmmuseum is an innovative 360° projection installation that allows visitors to explore Eye’s vast collection of over 54,000 films in an entirely new way. By using one of nine tablets as a remote control, visitors can search through film clips visually using AI-powered filters, rather than relying on traditional keyword searches. The interactive experience is playful and intuitive, making it possible to discover unexpected connections between film fragments. The Film Catcher showcases Eye’s commitment to preserving and sharing film heritage, while also pushing the boundaries of how we explore cinematic collections.
