100 SLAVIC NOVELS 10th ANNIVERSARY

At the 10th anniversary the 100 Slavic Novels collection the FSK organized a series of events in Ljubljana/Slovenia. The central event was held in the Slovenian Philharmonic and featured some of the best Slavic novelists from 8 Slavic countries. The event was organized under the honorary patronage of Anton Peršak, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.

Hear the Word

Venue: Slovenian Philharmonic

At the central event, some of the best contemporary Slavic novelists from 8 Slavic countries read the passages from their works, Svetoslav Nahum (Bulgaria), Nada Gašić (Croatia), Dimitar Baševski (Macedonia), Milorad Mijo Popović (Montenegro), Roman Senchin (Russia), Vida Ognjenović (Serbia), Monika Kompaníková (Slovakia) and Vlado Žabot (Slovenia).

Slavic novelists hosted by Faculty of Arts

Venue: Department of Slavic Languages at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana

The Slavic novelists were hosted by the Department of Slavic Languages at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana where they met with students and their professors.

Hear the Word under the honorary patronage of Minister of Culture

Central ceremony “Hear the Word!” took place in the Slovenian Philharmonic under the honorary patronage of Anton Peršak, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.

8 Slavic novelists on one stage

The passages from the novels were read by 8 Slavic novelists in 8 different Slavic languages.

Music enriched the central ceremony

The literary programme Hear the Word was enriched by the music performed by Katarina Kobal, soprano from Slovenia, Irina Milivojević, pianist from Serbia and Nadežda Tokareva, Russian-Slovenian violinist.
