Registration is now open for the ŽIVA Award Conference and Ceremony 2026.

The Forum of Slavic Cultures, in cooperation with the Bled Culture Institute and the Municipality of Bled, announces the 12th edition of the ŽIVA Award, titled Myth and Memory in the Slavic Cultural Space, taking place from 30 September to 3 October 2026 in Bled, Slovenia.

For more than a decade, the ŽIVA Award has recognised and promoted outstanding practices in museums and heritage institutions across Slavic countries. It is dedicated to institutions that contribute to professional development, public engagement, and new interpretations of cultural heritage in contemporary contexts.

The programme includes presentations of nominees, keynote lectures, discussions, networking opportunities, and the award ceremony. A dedicated Museum Marketplace enables institutions to present their work and connect with peers, alongside a professional excursion.

The registration fee includes participation in all official programme events, evening receptions and the gala dinner, conference materials, meals, and the excursion.
