The Forum of Slavic Cultures cordially invites you to a New Year’s gathering on Thursday, 9 January 2025, at 12:00, at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, Stara Ježica 9A, Ljubljana.
Our guests will be welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Krassimir Bojanov, and the Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, Dr. Andreja Rihter.
The event will feature a performance by soprano Petya Ivanova, a member of the Opera and Ballet of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, who will present a selection of Bulgarian compositions: Aria of Maria-Desislava from the opera of the same name by Parashkev Hadjiev; Devojche (composer: Dobri Hristov; lyrics: Canko Cerkovski); and Grozdano, mome (composer: Parashkev Hadjiev; folk lyrics)
