We are pleased to announce that this year’s International Translation Seminar of Slovenian Literature, organized by the Public Agency for Books of the Republic of Slovenia, will once again take place. This marks the fifteenth consecutive year, with its opening event to be held for the fifth time at Villa Zlatica on August 18, 2025.

The event will bring together translators of Slovenian literature from numerous countries, especially from Slavic language environments. Professional discussions will take place in the pleasant ambiance of Villa Zlatica’s gardens, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences with Slovenian colleagues and to meet with the interested public.

The seminar will run from August 18 to 22 in Ljubljana and Maribor, and will once again significantly contribute to the international recognition of Slovenian literature.
