Heritage in Motion 2025: Award Ceremony to Take Place in September in Budapest

The call for entries for the Heritage in Motion 2025 Awards, organized by the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK) and the European Museum Academy (EMA), has officially closed. The competition promotes innovative use of multimedia in the interpretation of cultural heritage and is aimed at projects that present heritage in a contemporary and accessible way through digital technologies, film, or interactive tools. Submissions were made via the FilmFreeway platform, and awards will be presented in several categories, including one dedicated to young creators.

The award ceremony will take place on 26 September 2025 at the Money Museum in Budapest. It will celebrate outstanding achievements in heritage interpretation using modern technologies and will provide an opportunity for networking among international experts, creators, and programme partners. The following day, on 27 September, a workshop focusing on new technologies in heritage presentation will feature selected winners of the Heritage in Motion 2024 Awards, who will showcase their projects and share experiences and innovative approaches to working with heritage in the digital environment.
