We are thrilled to announce that the call for submissions for the 2025 edition of Heritage in Motion closed with great success! We received a high number of entries — diverse, innovative, and of outstanding quality — from all over the world. The international jury is now at work reviewing the projects to select this year’s most inspiring achievements in digital heritage.

The shortlist of finalists will be officially announced by the end of August.

In the meantime, registration for the award ceremony in Budapest is now open! All participants should have received an email with the link to register.

The ceremony will take place on Friday, 26 September 2025, as part of the EMA Annual Conference, and will also be live streamed to allow all interested participants and followers to join remotely and celebrate this year’s achievements in digital cultural heritage. A dedicated workshop on new digital trends in cultural heritage will follow on the morning of 27 September.
