The Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK) will once again take part in the Svět knihy (World of Books) International Book Fair and Literary Festival in Prague, taking place from 15 to 18 May 2025.
As part of the professional programme, FSK will present the Hundred Slavic Novels collection and the Women Writers Route, a cultural route certified by the Council of Europe.
A highlight of the programme will be a conversation with Slovenian writer Suzana Tratnik, taking place on Friday, 16 May at 6 PM in the Bohumil Hrabal Hall. She will talk with Radek Novak, the Czech Slovenian scholar, researcher and translator of her novel My Name is Damjan.
The discussion will focus on Tratnik’s literary work, particularly on My Name is Damjan, which has been translated into Czech and is included in the Hundred Slavic Novels anthology.
