December 3, 2024, Vila Zlatica – A pleasant meeting between the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK) and Slovak Matica took place in Vila Zlatica, focusing on strengthening collaboration and fostering ties among Slavic nations.
The Slovak delegation was led by the President of Slovak Matica Dr. Marián Gešper, accompanied by Peter Schvantner, Katarina Konáriková, Lukáš Perný, and Lukáš Havlík. They presented their latest activities in publishing, while other members of the delegation also shared insights into their work. A special highlight of the event was the symbolic donation of selected publications from recent years, which President Gešper gifted to the FSK library.
The discussions also centered on collaboration for a special publication on the history of Slavic Matice organizations, aiming to showcase their rich cultural heritage and their role in connecting Slavic nations. Dr. Andreja Rihter, Director of FSK, expressed great interest and affirmed readiness for close collaboration on the publication, as well as active support in gathering materials for the project.
