Celebrating Slovenian Culture at Villa Zlatica

On the occasion of Prešeren Day, Slovenian Cultural Holiday, on Saturday, 8 February 2025, at 5 PM, we warmly invite you to Villa Zlatica for a literary evening dedicated to the novel Filio ni doma (Filio is not at Home) by Berta Bojetu Boeta. This remarkable novel, which continues to raise important questions about freedom, social systems, and identity, was recently translated into Serbian as the 100th book in the 100 Slavic Novels collection. Her son, translator, sociologist, anthropologist, and historian Klemen Jelinčič Boeta, will share insights into the life and work of Berta Bojetu Boeta. Through personal memories, he will shed light on her creative process, influences, and literary legacy. The discussion will be moderated by Špela Setničar, a presenter, writer, and scriptwriter.
