Call for the 16th International Summer School of Museology is out!

The 16th International Summer School of Museology this year explores the
evolving role of museums as dynamic spaces that bridge the past and the future!

At the heart of this theme lies the understanding that heritage is not a static collection
of artifacts, but a living and evolving narrative that continues to influence our present
and future. This edition will focus on how museums can preserve, reinterpret, and
communicate cultural identity in the face of modern challenges such as climate change,
globalization, digital transformation, and shifting societal values.

Title: Digital Futures

Technological innovation is rapidly transforming the museum landscape. Participants will explore how digital tools—from virtual exhibits to AI-powered curatorial practices— can enhance accessibility, interaction, and the long-term preservation of heritage.
