We warmly invite you to register for the first-ever Heritage in Motion (HIM) Festival 2026, taking place on 29–30 September 2026 in Bled, Slovenia.

After twelve years, Heritage in Motion is evolving from an awards ceremony into a two-day international festival, bringing together museum professionals, creators, researchers, and representatives of cultural institutions from around the world.

The festival will feature a rich professional programme, including keynote lectures by internationally renowned speakers, presentations by the finalists of the Heritage in Motion Awards 2026, conversations with creators, a special screening of the documentary Fiume o morte!, and the Heritage in Motion Awards Ceremony.

Registration Fee

• Free admission for representatives of institutions nominated for the Heritage in Motion Awards 2026 and participants of the ŽIVA Conference 2026.
• EUR 35 for representatives of institutions that are members of the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK).
• EUR 70 for representatives of institutions that are not members of the FSK.

Participants who register and pay the registration fee by 20 August 2026 will receive a 20% Early Bird discount.

The Heritage in Motion Festival 2026 is organised by the Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK), the European Museum Academy (EMA), and the Bled Institute for Culture, in cooperation with Museums in Short.
