Registration is now open for the ŽIVA conference and awards ceremony.

The Forum of Slavic Cultures is pleased to announce that this year’s, already 11th edition of the Živa Awards, titled Echoes of Heritage and the Future of Museums, will take place from October 8 to 12, 2025, in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For more than a decade, the Živa Awards have recognized outstanding achievements in the preservation and promotion of Slavic cultural heritage, bringing together numerous museums and heritage institutions from the Slavic world and beyond. Živa serves as a platform for exchange and promotion within Slavic countries and the broader region, highlighting their creative and innovative approaches, openness and accessibility to the public, their social impact, and their contribution to the development of museological principles and ideas.

The programme will feature a rich accompanying schedule of expert lectures, thematic panels, cultural tours, and networking opportunities. The registration fee includes participation in all official Živa Award events, printed materials, refreshments and meals, evening receptions, thematic dinners, participation in the marketplace, and a full-day guided excursion.
